Terms of Service

Last updated 4 November 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of wAPI (the "Service"), operated by 362186785046-k5j3jbtmftfiqs6sjjjmnvspr66ep4ea.apps.googleusercontent.com ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

wAPI is a software platform that lets businesses send and receive WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Cloud API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). It includes a shared inbox, contact management, message templates, campaigns, automation, AI bots, integrations and a developer API. Features available to you depend on your plan.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • You must give accurate business and contact details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account and workspaces, including by team members you invite, and for keeping your password and API tokens secure.
  • Tell us immediately at the contact details below if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. WhatsApp and Meta

To use the Service you connect your own WhatsApp Business account. You must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and Commerce Policy. Meta may review, limit, restrict or ban your number or templates at its sole discretion. We are not responsible for decisions Meta makes, for Meta service outages or for changes Meta makes to its API, pricing or policies.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • message people who have not opted in to receive messages from your business, or send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
  • send unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, harassing, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit content;
  • sell or promote products or services prohibited by Meta's Commerce Policy or by Sri Lankan law;
  • collect sensitive information such as full card numbers or passwords through chats;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other customers' data.

We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these rules, puts the platform or our Meta standing at risk, or fails to pay, with or without notice.

5. Plans, wallet and payments

  • Prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) on our pricing page and in your account, and may change. We will give notice of price changes before your next billing period.
  • Each workspace has a prepaid wallet. You top it up through our payment partners (PayHere or DirectPay). Template messages are charged to the wallet per message at the rate shown for its category (marketing, utility or authentication) when the message is sent.
  • Paid plans are charged in advance for each month or year. If automatic renewal is on, the plan renews from your wallet balance at the end of each period. If the balance is too low, the plan ends and the workspace moves to the free plan.
  • Plan limits (such as numbers, contacts, team members, storage and AI requests) apply to each workspace.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Your content and data

You own the contacts, messages, files and other content you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide and support the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, including any consents required, for the personal data you upload and the messages you send. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. AI features

AI bots and assistant features generate replies automatically using third-party AI providers. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing how your bots are configured and for messages sent to your customers on your behalf.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and we may change or remove features. We provide support by email and WhatsApp during normal business hours.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software and branding belong to 362186785046-k5j3jbtmftfiqs6sjjjmnvspr66ep4ea.apps.googleusercontent.com and its licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than the right to use the Service while your account is active.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access as set out in section 4. After closure we delete or anonymise Your Content within a reasonable time, except where we must keep records by law. Unused wallet balance is handled under the Refund Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account owners by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
